Unknown gunmen at the hour of 10am kidnapped a soldier Musa Lawal along the busy Calabar Road in Calabar , Cross River state. It was said that the soldier was kidnapped in front of one popular bank along Calabar road after he had finished his transaction.

According to Punch, an eyewitness Emma Abang said the incident happened at about 10am in the present of security official in the bank.
Security operative, confirmed the kidnapped while the Army relations officer Kayode Owolabi, said he was not aware of it
