Special Anti-Robbery Squad, Lagos state, arrested a
suspected armed robber, Michael David, after he robbed a lady of her phone.
The suspect who is said to be 22 years old and two other members
of his gang attacked Kate and the boyfriend, Desmond with locally-made double barrelled
pistol at close 26, Satellite Town Ijegun around 10pm.

It was said that the arm robbers took Kate’s phone and also threaten to shoot the both couple dead if they resisted. The robbers had mounted a waiting motorcycle and were about speeding up when Desmond gathered courage to attack them.

It was also said that Desmond succeeded in pulling down
David and immediately Kate called for help. Attempts by the suspect to shoot
the victim failed, as the gun reportedly jammed. The Imo State indigene was
reportedly mobbed by residents, who handed him over to the police.
