At Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, the Nigeria Drug Law Enforcement Agency arrested four drug couriers by name Nzube chukwudi (37), Aniebue Nnamma (50), Obinna Obi (30) and Ugwuezumba Arinze (30) at the process of trying to export a total weight of 8.8kg of narcotics to several countries.
One of the suspect Mr Aniebue Nnamma (50) blamed his involvement to the drug trafficking on financial problems and the poor economy of the country. he also narrated that he was scared of swallowing the drug at the initial stage then, he inserted the drug in his anus.
According to Chukwudi, he said he was promised the sum of one million to smuggle the drug to China where he work as a freight forwarder.
